I’m still too angry to write, still grieving for that sweet lady I watched being shot dead for no good reason.
I realize, though, that looking away from the execution of Renee Nicole Good would represent a precious jewel indeed in the president’s crown — a gem that grants him the power of deciding what is real and what is not.
Instead of what I saw — a senseless murder committed by a masked federal agent who was clearly itching to do what he did — the felonious psychopath in the Oval Office tells me I saw something altogether different.
The vice president, meanwhile, a true believer in all this blood-and-soil Nazi bullshit making its way from Hungary to America, tells me I’ve witnessed a “tragedy of her making.”
I suppose it’s natural he appears to have no soul, as he sold it to Peter Thiel and other moneyed patrons years ago.
And finally, the puppy-killing, air-headed head of Homeland Security tells me I’m seeing and hearing a “domestic terrorist,” not the smiling face and kind voice of a woman one year younger than my only child.
I confess I’m struggling with this admixture of grief and anger.
I’m going to surrender to the heat just now and hope I can bring some light to all this another day. To hell with these traitors.
